Chances are there is someone in your social circle that has depression, it may not be outwardly noticeable to you but with as much as one in five people (in the UK) having it the odds are pretty low that you don’t know anyone with it. I personally may have depression (but equally it may be a side effect of a traumatic brain injury which I know I have) but I do know of at least two people with depression and others with anxiety issues.
